  1. PhilateLISTER version 1.5 - created 4/29/94

  4. PhilateLISTER started as just a little stack I wrote for helping myself and fellow collectors organize their stamp collections.  It's really grown now, and version 1.4 comes in two flavors:
  5.   (1) A standalone application
  6.   (2) A hypercard stack - requiring version 2.2 of Hypercard or the Hypercard player

  8. Both version have identical features, but I've included the latter for people, like myself who are tight on disk space and already have version 2.2 of Hypercard or the Hypercard player.  Pick which one you wish to use and trash the other.   Both the stack and the standalone require system 7.1.

I have tried to be intentionally vague in the setup so that this program useful to specialized collectors, and not just a checklist.  However, it's really only as good as the user's determination and imagination.  It will take time to set up and maintain the list, but I've found it to be worth it.

  12. Please let me know if you have any comments of problems with the program.  Or even just to tell me whether you like it!  I'm always trying to improve the "estetics," so don't be shy.

  25.   (1) adds color display
  26.   (2) works at a much faster speed (its fully compiled, not Hypercard)
  27.   (3) has the ability to export lists to a FileMaker format
  28.   (4) adds full want list support
  29.   (5) will help improve your love life (Well, maybe this won't happen until version 3.0)

Version 1.5 of the PhilateLISTER at shareware.  If you use it, please consider supporting its continued development.  However, I explicitly retain all rights with respect to this package, and reserve the right to charge for later versions of the software.  PHILATELISTER IS NOT PUBLIC DOMAIN SOFTWARE.
